What is it?
The Janome 8002D Serger (or overlocker) is a specialized sewing machine that delivers professional-quality results by trimming, sewing, and finishing seams simultaneously. This versatile machine operates with 3 or 4 threads and features an adjustable differential feed, making it highly effective for sewing stretchy knit fabrics and preventing fraying on woven fabrics.
What can I do?
- Impeccable Finishing: It provides the neat, professional edge required for a polished, high-end look on all seams.
- Knit Construction: The multi-thread stitch is specifically designed to sew and secure stretchy knit fabrics without puckering or distorting them.
- Decorative Hems: Easily produce tight, narrow rolled hems—a superior decorative finish for delicate items like fine scarves, sheer apparel, and cloth napkins.
