It’s a new year and a new month, which means we have a new Drop-In project!
To prepare for Chinese New Year on February 1st, come into the Makerspace all through the month of January to make your own paper lanterns. Lanterns represent letting go of the past and the wish for a bright future, which make them perfect for a new year craft. The red color of this craft symbolizes good fortune, while the gold tassels are a symbol of wealth.
We hope you’ll visit the Makerspace to celebrate this tradition and create a lantern of your own.
